The altarpiece is St Ambrose Reviving the Daughter of a Poor Man, by Ambrogio Fumagalli, donated to the church by Pope Paul VI in 1974. Above the main altarpiece is a smaller painting, an anonymous 16th century depiction of the Holy Family.
