The third chapel on the left was one of the earliest in the church to be decorated. The chapel was under the patronage of Alessandro Guidiccioni, whose name and arms appear on the keystone of the arch. He died and was buried here in 1552. Thus the date for the decoration of the chapel is in the years around 1551.
