Second Courtyard
The second courtyard occupies what used to be the near end of the central nave of the Leonine basilica. The church has a loggia, entered through three open arches springing from two ancient marble Corinthian columns. Above the loggia is a 17th century enclosed gallery connecting the convent premises north and south of the church
