Santa Pudenziana al Viminale

The simple, dignified but artistically very important façade dates from the 1870 restoration. Apparently it was more or less rebuilt, although the previous form was preserved. There are two storeys, rendered in well worn yellow ochre. The bottom storey is plain walling bounded by a pair of triple stacked rectangular pilasters without capitals.
