Bernardina de Rustica Castellani, distinguished for her virtue, her respect for the sacred and her kind generosity, gave an inheritance to the Archconfraternities of SS. Salvatore ad Sancta Sanctorum and of the Gonfalons of Rome in order to provide dowries for virtuous maidens.

Her dutiful heirs set up this monument to this admirable noble lady in 1614
