In the Year of Our Lord 1622, Pope Gregory XV,
for the universal remembrance of the Annunciation,
granted forever a plenary indulgence with respect
to all their sins to all those believers in Christ who,
truly repentant and having confessed their sins and
received Holy Communion, will devoutly visit the
Church of St. Francis and the
Chapel of the Annunciation
and pour forth holy prayers to God in separate years
on the Feast of the Annunciation up to the
setting of the sun.
