The monumental double staircase winds its way up to the landing in front of the church's main entrance. On both sides of the staircase is a beautiful stone balustrade. The landing in front of the entrance is provided with a balustrade of the same type. It is all made of travertine and brick. The same applies to the straight staircase, to the right of the entrance into the monastery courtyard. The double staircase from 1654 is the work of Orazio Torriani.
