Near the entrance is a pair of identical doorways; the one on the right leads to the crypt stairs. The one on the left leads to a tiny chapel in the shape of an irregular hexagon that is dedicated to the Crucifixion. Over the entrance door is a large circular tondo which used to contain a fresco. Above that is the organ gallery.
