Chapel of Madonna
This is at the end of the left hand aisle, and used to be dedicated to Our Lady of Graces (Madonna delle Grazie). The altar has a pair of Ionic columns in black marble veined in white which support a triangular tympanum. The altarpiece was a Virgin and Child by Pietro di Belizo of the 16th century, but this was stolen in the late 20th century. Now, there is a modern bronze crucifix in the blank frame.
