The apse is 19th century, with fake painted hexagonal coffering containing rosettes in the conch. Behind, a set of wooden choir stalls runs round the apse and above it is a large altarpiece. On the walls flanking the altar are two 19th century paintings of St Francis Caracciolo, founder of the Clerics.
