The appearance of this chapel are mostly the result of a re-fitting by Ludovico Rusconi Sassi, under the patronage of Baldassarre Erba Odescalchi and completed in 1722. In front of the chapel are four large beautiful columns of violet breccia with corresponding pilasters, sustaining a cupola.
