Sant'Agostino

The High Altar was consecrated in 1628. The altar was designed by Orazio Torriani, who used four columns of precious black marble with gilded Corinthian capitals. The two angels above are typical of the style of Bernini, but are probably by Giuliano Finelli, although one has been attributed to Luigi Bernini, brother of Gian Lorenzo.
